Emotional Intelligence is a key indicator of success in the business world. Managers are even beginning to include the EI factor into the hiring process. According to the Center for Creative Leadership, a major cause of executive derailment can be traced to an inability to create and maintain good interpersonal relations and work well on a team.
"In hard times, the soft stuff often goes away. But emotional intelligence, it turns out, isn’t so soft. If emotional obliviousness jeopardizes your ability to perform, fend off aggressors, or be compassionate in a crisis, no amount of attention to the bottom line will protect your career. Emotional intelligence isn’t a luxury you can dispense with in tough times. It’s a basic tool that, deployed with finesse, is the key to professional success." - Harvard Business Review
In this class we’ll cover what Emotional Intelligence is and make the ‘business case’ for emotions by linking it to business/personal success. We’ll discover the information in emotions and how to transform it into productive outcomes. Each participant will take and receive the BarOn EQ-i and receive 1 hour of individual coaching.

With updated norms, and rigorous reliability and validity studies, it is one of the most scientifically validated Emotional Intelligence instruments available today. It measures the interaction between a person and his or her environment, and provides specific, measurable results. It allows a person to identify strengths and areas of challenge so that strengths may be leveraged and challenges managed, minimizing impact.
EQ 360
The EQ 360 is a multi-rater assessment of Emotional Intelligence. It provides feedback from multiple perspectives, augmenting insights discovered in the EQ-i 2.0. It provides identification and analysis of strengths and blind spots allowing development of an Action Plan for focused development.
